What to write about
To help us respond faster, here are the most common reasons people contact us — and what to include in your message:
- Bug reports. If a calculator is producing wrong results, please tell us which calculator, what inputs you used, what result you got, and what you expected. Screenshots help.
- Outdated tax brackets or rates. Tax laws change. If you spot a salary calculator using last year's brackets, let us know which country and which bracket — we'll update it and credit you if you'd like.
- Calculator suggestions. Have a money question that doesn't fit any of our existing calculators? Tell us what you're trying to figure out. The best ideas come from real-world problems.
- Editorial corrections. If a blog post contains an error or oversimplification, please point us to the specific paragraph. We update articles regularly.
- Partnership and press inquiries. Affiliate proposals, content collaborations, and press requests — please include enough context for us to evaluate the fit.
What we can't help with
MyFinCalc is an educational tool. We are not licensed financial advisors, accountants, or tax professionals, and we cannot answer personal finance questions specific to your situation. If you need personalised advice, please consult a qualified professional in your jurisdiction.
We also can't:
- Recommend specific stocks, funds, or investments to buy
- Help with tax filing, IRS / IRD / ATO / HMRC / CRA disputes, or legal matters
- Give advice on cryptocurrency trades, real estate purchases, or business decisions
- Provide one-on-one financial coaching
